A tribute to Edward Hopper, after Compartment C, Car 293 (1938). The woman keeps reading by the train window. Outside, Hopper travels beside the train at the same speed, mixing his oils on the palette. He is painting her again, giving his last touches before the train disappears: a forgotten detail, another to retouch. She does not notice. Same scene, reinterpreted in my own intense palette.
